Future and Hope in Sumbawanga

Future and Hope is a Danish organisation which aims at helping orphan street children in Sumbawanga, which is located in the Southwestern corner of Tanzania in Africa.

The need among the street children is great and the resources in Sumbawanga are small. Therefore Future and Hope works determined to improve the life of the street children through a help-center, Drop In Center and a childrens home, Bethania Children's Village. This happens in cooperation with the local authorities in Sumbawanga.

The work among the streetchildren is driven by locally hired activists, whom Future and Hope support with money, help and advice. The work is yearly monitored trough a visit from the Danish Board.
